日本大学アメフト部の一連の薬物事件への対応をめぐり、日大の林真理子理事長らが、澤田康広副学長に対し辞任するよう求めていたことがわかりました。

日本大学は今年7月、学内の調査でアメフト部の寮から大麻とみられる植物片が発見されたあと、警視庁に報告するまでに12日間かかったことが問題視されています。
この件について先月4日、林真理子理事長が、対応していた澤田康広副学長に対し「警察に聴取されると補助金（私学助成金）が交付されない可能性が高い」などと直接伝え、辞任するよう求めていたことが澤田副学長の代理人弁護士への取材で新たにわかりました。
これに対し、澤田副学長は、対応の方針については林理事長にも報告したなどとし、「辞任する相当な理由がない」と反論したということです。
日本テレビに対し、日本大学は、林理事長や執行部が澤田副学長に対して「自らの進退について自身で判断するよう促した」と説明していますが、林理事長は、この件に関し回答していません。
